Geophysicist and nature lover I like hiking to reach new places and take pictures of the beauties that nature offers me along the way. I started my studies in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Florence, and continued to obtain a master degree in Exploration and Applied Geophysics at the University of Pisa. From 2017, I attended a Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) – Pisa. I am currently a PhD student in Earth Science at the University of Pisa and in close collaboration with the INGV of Pisa. I’m investigating the seismicity in the Northern Apennines, in particular of the Mugello basin area.
B.Sc. in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Florence, 2013. Thesis title: “The LABEC XRF spectrometer for in-situ analysis of Cultural Heritage. An example of application to the ancient Japanese swords”.
M.Sc. in Exploration and Applied Geophysics at the University of Pisa, 2016. Thesis title: “Characterization of the microseismicity induced by artificial water reservoir: Pietra del Pertusillo Lake Dam, Val d’Agri, Italy”.
Research Fellowship at INGV – Pisa, 2017. Title: “Analysis and characterization of the low-energy seismicity, registered by the National Seismic Network (RSN) and other local networks, in a geothermal area”.
