Geologist and traveler, passionate about hiking and nature. My research project focuses on performing chemical and isotope analyses (Sr, Nd and Pd isotopes) on the Melt Inclusions (MIs) hosted in olivine crystals in Mount Amiata and in other volcanic areas in Central Italy (i.e. Radicofani, Vulsini, San Venanzo, Cimini, Albani, Sabatini volcanoes). My interests regard the Central Italian potassic and ultrapotassic magmatism and the main mechanisms which led to compositional changes between the magmas of the Tuscan Magmatic Province and those of the Roman Magmatic Province. Currently, I am involved in the CARG project for the geological mapping of Mount
Amiata, in Tuscany, Italy.
B.Sc. in Geological Science at the University of Padova, 2015. Thesis Title: “CO2 degassing
from sediments intruded by CAMP sills in the Amazonas Basin”.
M.Sc. in Geology and Technical geology at the University of Padova, 2017. Thesis Title: “Degassing from sediments intruded by CAMP basalts during the end-Triassic extinction event”.
Junior researcher at the University of Utrecht (NL), 2019. “Constraining end-Triassic carbon
cycle perturbations from single fern spore carbon isotope records”.
Research Fellow at the University of Florence, 2020. “Study on the geographical traceability of
extra virgin olive oil in the Tuscany region”
Ph.D. Student in Earth Sciences at the University of Pisa, 2020-Present. Thesis Title: “The Mt Amiata-Radicofani volcanoes: a window into the subcontinental lithospheric mantle”.
