Geologist and traveler, passionate about hiking and outdoor activities. Thanks to the passion of one of my professors, I realized in my senior year of high school that I wanted to study Geology. During my university studies, I got interested on stratigraphic and sedimentological issues. Over the years, I focused on the analysis of sedimentary basins. I also realized the importance of geophysical data (especially seismic data) for the development of our knowledge about the evolution and characterization of sedimentary basins. For this reason, my PhD work focuses on the integration of geological and geophysical data to understand the development of Tuscan hinterland basins.
B.Sc. in Geological Sciences at the University of Florence, 2016. Thesis Title: “Stratigraphic indicators of paleotectonics inside the Marne di Galiga.(Cervarola Falter ona Unit)(Rufina Mugello)”.
M.Sc. in Geological Sciences and Technologies at the University of Florence, 2020. Thesis Title: “Facies architecture of incised fluvial valley: examples from Middle Jurassic and Eocene of Central High Atlas (Morocco)”.
Ph.D. Student in Earth Sciences at the University of Pisa, 2020. Thesis Title: “The late-collisional basins of the northern Apennines, from origin to resource: integrated seismo-stratigraphic and surface geology analysis of the Valdelsa and Valdera basins (Central Tuscany, Italy)”.
