Short course: Fault rock microstructures

Nei giorni 11 e 12 dicembre 2017 presso l'Università di Parma si terrà lo short course dal titolo "FAULT ROCK MICROSTRUCTURES". Il corso è organizzato dai Professori Renée Heilbronner e Fabrizio Storti e sarà strutturato secondo le modalità riportate nella comunicazione orginale (vedi sotto). PROGRAMMA (da comunicazione originale)
Image analysis methods for the quantitative analysis of fault rocks and brittle microstructures are introduced and discussed.

The short course runs for two half days. Each half-day session consists of a
• short theoretical introduction followed by
• discussion and/or practical applications.
Exercises are possible if participants bring their own laptops.

If image analysis software is used, it will be imageJ/Fiji (all platforms).
For Mac users, Image SXM is possible too.
