Visiting Fellows

Visiting Fellows Programme

The University of Pisa funds visits by professors and researchers from foreign institutions. Visiting Fellows spend a period at the Department of Earth Sciences (DST), working with a DST host on joint research and teaching.

Visiting Fellows and Seminar Series 2026

In 2026 the DST received funding to host seven Visiting Fellows. As part of their visit, each fellow gives a talk in the Visiting Fellow Seminar Series, open to students, staff and anyone interested. The series opens on Thursday 29 October 2026 at 11:30 in Aula 3 (ground floor), Via S. Maria 53, with Dr. Yves Marrocchi (CRPG–CNRS, Nancy). Upcoming seminars will be added to the table as they are scheduled.
