A sub-centennial, Late Quaternary geological record was acquired on the eastern side of the FramStrait along the main path of the North Atlantic Current exerting a strong control on Arctic climate.IRIDYA proposes a multi-proxy, cross-disciplinary reconstruction of climate changes and feedbackon the paleo Barents Sea Ice Sheet, representing the best past analogue to study the future stabilityof the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and its contribution to future global sea level change.
