Geologist and traveler, passionate about hiking and outdoor activities. Thanks to the passion of one of my professors, I realized in my senior year of high school that I wanted to study Geology. During my university studies, I got interested on stratigraphic and sedimentological issues. Over the years, I focused on the analysis of sedimentary basins. I also realized the importance of geophysical data (especially seismic data) for the development of our knowledge about the evolution and characterization of sedimentary basins. For this reason, my PhD work focuses on the integration of geological and geophysical data to understand the development of Tuscan hinterland basins.
