Alberto Michelini (IDS Georadar - part of Exagon) illustrerà i principi base dell'Interferometria Radar e le sue possibilità di impiego nelle Geoscienze e Ambiente. IDS Georadar collabora da anni con il Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra. Alcuni nostri laureati sono attualmente parte del personale di IDS e saranno presenti al seminario
On December 18th at 9:00 am (room A), Dr. Alberto Michelini (IDS Georadar) will hold a seminar entitled: "Radar Monitoring Solutions and Applications at IDS GeoRadar"
This is an excellent opportunity to learn, albeit in a concise manner, the principles of ground-based radar interferometry and its main applications to Geosciences (slope stability,  building/bridge/glacier and mining monitoring). 
The seminar is organized within the Radar Geomorphology course, but is open to all students of all BSc and MSc programs (please spread this information to all the students you know).
Attached some details about Alberto Michelini and the seminar topic. You are all warmly invited to attend.
Attendance at the seminar may count toward credits earned in the Other Activities of your study plans (MSc in Expl. and Appl. Geophysics).
